George Rodman
George Rodman has been an
embalmer and funeral director for 20 years and a pre-need counselor for 10
years. Mr. Rodman has also been certified to perform eye enucleation and has
been volunteering for the Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank for several years.
George is a co-founder and developer of The Ohio Cremation and Memorial Society,
an organization that exists to promote cremation as a dignified and simple
alternative to the traditional funeral.
Mr. Rodman has been working at the same facility since 1974 with a brief two
year break to attend the Kentucky College of Mortuary Science where he obtained
a degree in funeral directing, embalming and grief counseling. In 1986 George
assumed ownership of the firm and now directs a multifaceted business for the
enhancement of individual dignity at the time of death and final disposition. He
promotes the personalization of end of life rituals that are simple and
dignified. Mr. Rodman addresses a diversity of needs for veterans, persons of
various faiths, the indigent, infants, and more to assure all life is respected
and all death treated honorably.
